This is the website of the RMS-SEPM (Rocky Mountain Section of the Society for Sedimentary Geology). RMS-SEPM exists to provide a stimulating forum within the Rockies geologic community for issues related to sedimentology, stratigraphy, and sedimentary petrology. This is achieved through monthly luncheon technical presentations, diverse though infrequent publication efforts, and sponsorship of field trips and core workshops. The organization also supports sedimentologic and stratigraphic research efforts through the award of three annual graduate student scholarships. To learn more about RMS-SEPM, please feel free to explore this website, review our past newsletters, or visit the SEPM national organization.

PHOTO CONTEST:
Submit your geological photo (outcrop, thin-section,etc.) to Information@RMSSEPM.org
